Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us (Romans 8: 35, 37).
I receive many emails each week from women who are struggling in their lives with all levels of challenges. If you are in that place today be encouraged. God loves you and wants to help you.
Paul wrote these words to a church that would soon face terrible persecution. His hypothetical situations would turn into painful realities. These scriptures reaffirm God's amazing love for his people. Suffering should never drive us away from God, but encourage us to identify with him more and permit his love to heal our pain.
We will always face hardships in many forms. Christians are not exempt from challenges of this life. But we can have comfort and peace from God as we navigate through difficult times. Nothing can stop Christ's constant presence with us. We can feel totally secure in Christ's love and not walk in fear.
God loves his children and only wants what is best for you. Sometimes the challenges of life can appear to be overwhelming but you are not alone. Rest assured that God is walking through the valley's with you. We can trust him to be with us every step. Be assured that he is in control of every situation you are dealing with today. And remember, you only have the ability to see the moment but God sees the entire picture!
