Visit with surgeon

Just a quick post to let everyone know that my husband had an appointment with the spine surgeon Monday. They have placed him on a steroid for one week. He has an appointment next Wednesday and if he has not shown any improvement they will schedule back surgery. I know my God is bigger than all this and He can heal. Please pray with me that God's will be done in this situation. My hubby needs relief from the pain in his back and leg. He has only been sleeping two hours at night and spends the rest of the night walking the floor due to the intense pain and praying. Praying isn't a bad thing but he truly is exhausted.

Thank you so much for your prayers and continued support. I love you guys more than you know.

Blessings to you!

  1. Oh, I am sorry your husband is suffering so. And I know you also suffer along with him. I pray he will be better and the Lord will miraculously touch him and make him whole. When he can't pray, I know everyone is lifting him up in prayer.

  2. Will continue to pray. That God's will be done, and if it is to be, healing and freedom from pain!

  3. It's Tuesday do today and I wanted you to know I was praying for you both last night. I think God must have smiled because not knowing your names I asked the Lord to be with Chocolate & Coffee!! He knows who you are and I know he knows I was praying for you.

Hope today things are going well for you.

  4. Wednesday - praying for relief from pain today. "Do not worry about tomorrow - for tomorrow has enough worries of it's own" this is paraphrased lol but I know Jesus said something like this - take care Shelley

  5. Hi Debbie,How is your husband today? My son-in-law is a MD who works on people with spine and back problems. He said that steroids injected into the spine have helped his patients and they didn't need surgery most of the time..My blessings to him and his recovery.

  6. I continue to keep you husband in my prayers. Leg and back pain can be debilitating. I do hope that surgery isn't necessary.

  7. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.
I trust all will be well.

  11. Oh wow PTL isn't God something - I have expereinced times when my DH has been as sick as a dog but still determined to preach and God just does it!! I'm so glad your hubby was able to get through and deliver the Word. Still praying for Wednesday - let us know how it goes. Wednesday is a special day for me as I will have a new neice or nephew my SIL is having a C Section so as I pray for her I'll be praying for your man too.

We already did Thanksgiving in Canada a while ago but it was still a wonderful weekend! Thanks for asking. Take Care - Shelley

  12. I am so sorry that he is going through this. I know that God heals.
I pray that God is glorified in and through your husband. I pray that the hours walking the floor praying bring an incredible depth of relationship that would have other wise taken so much longer.

Thanks so much for visiting this site. I pray that Chocolate and Coffee will be an encouragement to you today.

Blessings and hugs!
