Ministry - Me?

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Phil. 1:6

This verse is awesome and we can see God's promise that He is at work in our lives and will bring His plan to completion. As we grow and mature in Christ, God continues to open doors for our ministry.
Just a few years ago a particular lady in our church didn't attend the ladies Bible studies or participate in any mentorship group. She had absolutely no desire to do so. But God on the other hand had other plans and now she is leading the Outreach Ministry in our church!

Yesterday a dear friend, who Bobby and I have known for a long time, came to me at church and told me that she couldn't believe how my ministry as matured over the years. She still remembers a shy, timid young woman who sang a solo in church when her husband was applying for a pastoral position a number of years ago. Now that same lady is leading the worship team and directing the choir along with a number of other things God has called her to do! God is so amazing and it is exciting to see how He changes our lives when we are obedient to His will.

God does have a plan for you and I. Maybe you are frustrated today because things just don't seem to be moving fast enough regarding your ministry. Take advantage of this time and allow God to use you where you are. Continue to grow in the things of God so when He opens the next door for your ministry, you will be prepared to walk through it. Jesus is alive and continues to do an amazing work in us!

Blessings to you!
